Does Suncoast give good trade-in value on DVD's?

I don't have much experience trading in DVD's. Only twice, but I took about 10 DVD's to Gamestop and they were offering $17.00 for the lot. I then when to Blockbuster who offered $47.00.

So does Suncoast have good values more in line with GS or BBV?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure, but your best bet would be to call them, and give them a "what if" scenario.

Like:

"If I traded this in, how much trade-in credit would I get?"

IIRC, Suncoast does take used DVD's (you can sell them for cash or get more by taking in-store credit) as well as trade in on Tuesday for a new release - I don't recall the trade-in ratio, maybe 3 to 1 ???

They actually have a pamphlet saying "Sell Us Your DVD's." Inside they say that store credit is 20% more than taking cash and that they pay more for the following:

- newer releases
- box sets
- classics
- award-winners
- seasonal favorites
- children's collections

Maybe as an indicator of what they pay, the pamphlet says you can buy used DVD's 3 for $25 (this probably means no former Blockbuster $8 deal each)

FWIW...

Just called my suncoast; they only give store credit, and the most I'd get for a new release in mint condition would be $4.50.
