Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Monty Python Holy Grail CE Boxsets - $19.99 Kmart (YMMV)

Kmart has these collector's edition boxsets for $19.99 in their month-long circular that ends 12/26/05.

The lowest prices I've found on these are in the lower $30s online. I checked my local Kmart and they just got in Dark Crystal and it is indeed labeled $19.99. Great deal if you can find them!

The "if you can find them" is an important caveat with any DVD deal at K-Mart. My local K-Mart never seems to have any of these circular advertised DVD deals in stock.

It might be worth a call to check for stock to save yourself a trip.

I saw some of these boxes at Costco for $16.99. That might be your route if you got their membership.

Anything at K-Mart is definitely a "YMMV" situation. Different regions get different ads.

I don't know about the Labyrinth or Dark Crystal sets, but save your money and just get the regular Monty Python DVD so you don't have to risk cracking your disks when you try to remove them from the impossible hubs in that case.

Best But had a coupon a while back that allowed me to get the Holy Grail set for $10. Even though I already had the 2-disk set, I figured why not. The disks are on the hubs on the inside on that case so tight that I cracked one of the disks trying to remove it. I took it back, exchanged it, and put the thing right up on ebay. Ended up getting almost twice and much for it open than what I paid for it new.

The paperback script and film cell in it are lame too.

Just to update this, the K-Mart locations in mid-Michigan have finally started getting this in, but only Dark Crystal and Holy Grail. No Labyrinth to be seen.
