Cancelled Shows 2005-2006

By now, most of the new shows this fall are getting canned and there have been some other series canned. I was trying to think of them all, so I thought I'd start a thread to compile a list. Please list any I have forgotten and I'll edit the list.

New fall shows already cancelled:
Head Cases (Fox)
Just Legal (WB)
Sex, Lies & Secrets (UPN)
Inconceivable (NBC)
Kitchen Confidential (Fox)
Night Stalker (ABC)
Threshold (CBS)
Reunion (Fox)
Killer Instinct (Fox)
The Apprentice: Martha Stewart (NBC) (still on air, ending after this season)
Hot Properties (ABC)
Over There (FX)
Starved (FX)

Current shows not renewed/ending this year:
Alias (ABC)
Will & Grace (Fox)
7th Heaven (WB)
Strong Medicine (Lifetime)

Rumored to be ending after this season:
Arrested Development (Fox)
The Shield (FX)
King of the Hill (Fox)

It looks like this is the last season of "The Shield" as well.

Also, this is the last season of "King of the Hill".

I know they are billing it that way, but I hope it isn't true. Best show on TV.

I think you should take Arrested Development off the list. It hasn't been officially canceled. Please give us our denial as long as possible.

Damn, didn't know about King of the Hill. For my money, it was much funnier than Futurama.

I actually enjoyed what I saw of Kitchen Confidential, but then again I like Anthony Bourdain. Of course the demise of AD is horrible.

Really? Is it due to cheaper animators, or what?

Theres no reason to want a good show to get cancelled just because another good show got cancelled first. On a list of Fox shows that should be cancelled first, King of the Hill is near the bottom.

They cancelled Killer Instinct after this news was posted a couple of weeks ago?

From thefutoncritic.com November 3:
KILLER INSTINCT (FOX) - FOX has asked for three additional scripts of the freshman drama, which currently ranks as the second most-watched series in its time period among men 18-34. Overall "Instinct" has been averaging a modest 4.63 million viewers to date this season, ahead of lead-ins "The Bernie Mac Show" (3.76 million on average) and "Malcolm in the Middle" (3.52 million). Josh Berman, Charles Grant Craig, Reed Steiner and Ed Zuckerman are the executive producers for Regency Television.

On the Futon Critic site today the headline says it is cancelled. They came out with the new winter Fox schedule. Killer Instinct's time slot is going to Trading Spouses. There's not more info about it other than the last airing will be in December.

Futurama had a lot of CGI. I'm sure that drove the cost up more than the average animated show.

I think the same thing's happening to the Shield that happened to Sopranos. They're getting an extra long season, but it's being split up across 2 years. It's the same as having 2 seasons left, but they get to milk the final season hoopla for 2 years.
