Bloom County Christmas on DVD ever?

Remember the Bloom County Christmas special on TV several years ago, A Wish For Wings That Work? I've been in several stores that have a pretty wide selection of Christmas DVD's, animated or otherwise, and I've been dismayed every year to keep seeing they've apparently never released this on DVD yet. I've owned the VHS for some time, but naturally it would look so much better on disc.

Anybody know anything about an official release? I've seen auctions for a laserdisc transfer DVD, but that's about it.

I'll be interested on this too. A coworker of mine lend me his VHS copy last Christmas.

"So, they've been giving out home lobotomy coupons in the Little Friskies again, have they?"

My favorite line from the film.

I was so excited when it originally aired, and I still like popping it in during the holidays. One of the few reasons I've held onto my laserdisc player.

I've never been able to see this, but I'm a wee bit interested you might say.

Now this is a comic strip that just screams for a "Complete Bloom County" set like Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes.

You should be able to see it any time. They always have the VHS on eBay.
