Mr & Mrs Smith & March of the Penguins best prices?

Probably the last two wants of the year so I'll combine the request for the best prices.

So far it appears Mr & Mrs Smith is $15.99 (BB) and March of the Penguins is $16.99 CC & Target - $17.79 at DDD.

Any better? Thanks

March of the penguins for $12.99 at Strawberries this week, saw it in the circular today.

After rebate, nevermind.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith is $13.95 at Ultimate Electronics this week. The cheapest so far - by 4 pennies!

Looks like CC is the best so far, thanks. (No Ultimate Electronics 'round here)

Will a re-release be cheaper, or will it have different content? I have a $5 gift card form Ultimate that I got months ago from buying the Incredibles that I finally paln on using.

I bet there will be an UN-RATED SEXIER dvd like they did with CHARLIE'S ANGELS 2.
So I'll hold out for that.

Has this been officially announced or is it just rumored?

I won't be picking up this movie, but I did see it at a drive-in (right after Star Wars Ep. 3). The movie (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) is a very interesting concept and the chemistry between Pitt and Jolie was great. And I agree, I'm pretty sure there'll be a re-release early in '06.

To me this doesnt seem like a movie where I need a ton of special features anyway, so I'm just gonna get this one now.

I'm really on the fence on this one. I'm sure a SE will come out for Mr & Mrs Smith, but for $13.99, it's pretty hard to resist...

Absolutely. I refuse to buy any first release Fox puts out b/c i assume a double disc is coming. If Fox holds true to its previous M.O., we should have an announcement by the end of the year. bastards.

There are going to be different extras on both releases. So if you're "in" it for that, I'd get it now and later. Plus, who knows if they'll leave off the DTS track next time around.

One of the reviews I read says that Liman mentions an alternate ending in his commentary that does not appear on the disk, so I'm even more confident that another one is on the way.

Maybe by the time it comes out, the stars will "officially" be a couple and Fox can use the original poster art, which they scrapped because they didn't want them to be shown touching in the heat of the tabloid hubbub. It was basically the same key art, except with the leads back to back.

I'll wait, but it pains me to do so because this was one of my favorite films of 2005. Pitt and Jolie oozed sexual chemistry in this one, and the action set pieces were nicely done, yet very tongue-in-cheek.

Damn you Fox!

I couldn't pass up getting this one even though I am certain it will be re-released. Circuit City's $13.99 price was just too good to pass on.

I found MARCH OF THE PENGUINS at Wal-Mart for $14.87--at least that's what the shelf sign said. But when I went through the register it came up at $16.87.

Needless to say, the cashier gave it to me for $14.87. However, from reading the ads, $16.99 was the cheapest I've seen.
