Seen alot of these "top games lists" in my gaming time, and this one has to be the worst yet. The top 10 are all console games? /laugh
X-Com: UFO Defense all the way at 100?....and no mention of Civilization or Planescape: Torment? They might want to actually try playing real games before making a top 100 list. 7 of their 18 PC games are FPS games?
Honestly, while there are a number of great games (both PC and Console) on that list, it sounds more like a "Top 100 games of all time for kids 16 and under" to me.

We will never all agree on lists like these, but I think we can all agree FFVII is not the best game of all time.

The PC list is missing some classic games, like Civilization, Star Control II, X-Wing (or Tie Fighter, if you prefer), Ultima VII: The Black Gate.
Nice to see Grim Fandango listed, but not having Day of the Tentacle listed is a serious oversight.
Oh, and Warcraft II is so much better than Warcraft III. Speaking of RTS, where's Dune II?!

What about, Mario Kart 64 (easily the best in the series), Tekken 5, Silent Hill 2, Sega Tennis 2k2. And yes, Warcraft 2 shits all over 3. Also all the sega platforms (SMS! cmon!!) seem very under represented... damn there were some fine games over the years. Streets of Rage 2 is still the best scrolling fighter ever made, by definition it needs to be in there somewhere.
Btw, if you're complaying that Symphony of the night isn't top 10 (hey it was 15), well I think there are far bigger fish to fry .

This pretty much says it all:
Arcade - 3 titles
#47: Street Fighter II: The World Warrior - ARC
#58: Mortal Kombat - ARC
#66: Pac-Man - ARC
Any list of arcade games had better begin with Pac-Man.
Yep. Civilization, Master of Orion, Star Control II, TIE Fighter, Sim City, and Ultima VII: The Black Gate (or Ultima IV) had better be on any top 100 list.

Btw, how the hell is Goldeneye #7.. sure it was fairly fun back in its day but it's aged terribly.. there are so many better fps around (yes even on consoles), and the n64 controller is just not good for playing fps.

I just don't get why these games are put on a pedestal over the games of today which blow them out of the water.

Apparently Gamefaqs voters are mostly under 30 and are mainly console gamers.
Wizardry, Bard's Tale, Castle Wolfenstein, Prince of Persia, Choplifter, Archon, arguably all belong in a top 100 game list, but since they were out before most of the voters were probably born, they get no love.
And they should really just leave arcade games completely out of it if they're basically just going to include Pac Man as a token gesture.
It may be my PC bias, but I find it astounding that both Goldeneye and Halo are top ten, but Half-Life is at #49 and Deus Ex is at #67!? That just reinforces my opinion that console gamers shouldn't be allowed to vote on FPS games. It seems like the vast majority of them have only played a few and the two good ones for consoles gets boosted into the top ten simply because most console gamers haven't a clue what they've been missing on PCs.

I didn't even notice Star Control II was missing. That was one of my all time favorite PC games and the 3DO version was also a major bright spot on a very weak console. That has to be a top 100 game.
