Wavy Lines when DVD runs into AV Receiver then into TV Video In
When I connect my DVD player or Play Station 2 directly to the TV, the picture is perfect.
When I run them into the back of my Yamaha AV Receiver, then run the Video Out from the Yamaha AV receiver to the back of my JVC TV (Video IN), I get slow wavy lines in the picture.
I tried hooking up a 2 year old RCA TV and still got the same problems (direct hookups were fine, but from the AV to to TV created slow wavy lines).
What may be causing this? Is it my receiver, the cables, etc.? If the cables, why do they work fine when directly hooked up to the back of the TV. I didn't have this problem prior to moving to my new place.
Cordially,
Nick

Well not exactly sure of the problem, might be a grounding issue. In any case it is always better to run video straight to the tv instead of through a receiver unless you absolutely must have the ability to switch through the receiver.
