Fry's Black Friday Ads

Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (HOU), Chicago (IL), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - Austin, Sacramento, San Diego, AZ, GA, IN, NV, OR), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Unless otherwise indicated, items below are listed in all six (DFW, HOU, IL, LA, SJ, and WA) ads.

Ad updates:
DFW, HOU, IL, LA, WA: Fri-Mon, Weds
SJ: Everyday

Fry's is Closed on Thanksgiving and will open at 5 AM on Black Friday.

Click this link and then "next ad" and "next ad" again to see all 3 pages of Thursday's ad.

Hopefully, I'll be heading to the Oxnard store soon. Will try to get 4 hours or so of sleep, then be there at 5 am.

I'll be stopping along the way for a Friday paper to get the 4 pager ad.

People in Northern California should have insane deals at the Fry's there. I picked up a San Francisco paper on a Friday awhile back, it wasn't even the holiday season, and the Fry's ad was 8 pages, plus 4 extra pages on the back of various sections. Crazy stuff.

EDIT: You should be able to click that link in a few hours and get the Friday's ad as well. Just keep clicking NEXT AD, or look at, and click on the pictures at the bottom of the pages...

Ok, now that I have the time, I've updated the original post with all areas and nicely formatted.

P.S. - Just so no one is take unawares...don't expect much from the Fry's Ads from now until Christmas...after Black Friday, their sales always suck big time.

FYI for Atlanta shoppers, the newspaper ad showed for CSI: Season 1 for $19.99, but it you check out the item number, it's for CSI: Season 4, and that's the only one that Fry's will sell to you for $19.99. So I wasn't able to get CSI: Season 1 for that nice price of $19.99 (For some reason, I didn't watch much of season 1, but have since watched the show from season 2 and on).

I asked them for a list, but they didn't have one.

Off the top of my head, I can recall:

Blast from the Past
Hot Shots!
The Last Boy Scout
Lethal Weapon 3
Mortal Kombat
Two Weeks Notice

Were the 2.99's flying off the shelves? Just curious if they'll have any of "The Ring" in Burbank if I go over right now at 1pm

My Fry's in Atlanta had plenty of the $2.99 titles on hand, and weren't in jeopardy of running out of them.

The Thursday ad was 3 pages. The Friday ad was 8. Which didn't help me because it wasn't posted at the store, and I couldn't find the ad until after I left and went to Best Buy...
