Picked up Hoop Dreams for less then 13 bucks.
There were tons of My Private Idaho-I think under $20 and The Leopard for just under $25 after discount.Lots of tv sets and dts music cds...anyone find good stuff at other Good Guys?

Probably store dependent. Went to a couple of San Francisco locations and there "clearance" prices were a bit ridiculous. An open box Panasonic E-80 DVD-Recorder (some 2-3 models ago) was still selling for $399. As for DVD bargains, there were some further price reductions (like 30% off what the price originally was in store) but didn't see that interested me.

sucks items are almost becoming a actual deal

Which Good Guys store did you find the Criterions? Was it in Tustin??? I live pretty close to the one by the dvdplanet retail store. Gonna check that one out today.

At the Huntington Beach location I was able to purchase Hoop Dreams for $11.99 and they had one last copy of Fear & Loathing In Vegas for $17.99 not much else...

Made a special trip out to the GG across the street from the Beverly Center. The sign is still up, but they've already transformed the space into a CompUSA.

Went to the Tustin store and picked up the Lakers Dynasty Series set for 10 bucks. I was expcting it to be ~23, since its marked at 39.99 and 40% off. DDD has it for 47. I'm happy

They had quite a few copies of My Own Private Idaho there, and i passed on the one copy of Hoop Dreams that I saw. They had a couple Return of the King Gift Sets there too.

Mine also had The Leopard for 40% off $35, or $21. Good deal for a $50 list Criterion.

Still waiting for price to be lower for Private Idaho and Leopard criterions...
