I read Francis Rizzo III's DVD review of Honor & Courage - Tough Guys of the NHL at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=18726 and...
Ian Laperriere is actually a good player and a top contributer to the Avalanche. Not "less important", or whatever.

He was more important to his team when he could play his style of hockey. He may be a good player, but he's simply not as important as he once was.
You'll notice later on I say: " But now, in a wide-open league, these slower-skating clutch-and-grabbers, with the exception of Laperriere, are either not playing or are struggling to hold onto jobs."
