plus, Christian Cage makes his IMPACT debut, and "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown, Team 3D, Sabu, Gail Kim, NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett, X-Champion AJ Styles, Three Live Kru and more!
They are slowly building a nice group of talent. Christian and the Dudleys are serious upgrades. Making Monty champ would be a mistake though. Jackie could be their first Playboy model if she wants to and that would be a huge boost for them. I still think that Charlie Haas would be a nice addition. The need to shed some old timers like Nash and Waltman though. Picking up someone like Cornette to work behind the scenes and help some of these guys with promos and ring psychology would also help.

they need to keep it like that though...... keep it slow on the hiring and hire quality people...
i think the only thing the WWE needs to do is get rid of Johnny Ace and the writers....

I agree but I think my suggestions would make them better. I think Haas could have some great matches with both S. Joe.

Agreed but the WWE also has a huge talent problem and the loss of "Latino Heat" only makes it worse. They have invested all of this time in guys like Carlito, Masters, Orton, Cena, and Batista and so far they aren't paying off. Yeah Batista and Cena are champs and sell merchandise but they can't carry a match or put anyone else over. Jericho is gone now, RVD is hurt and under used and they kept Edge over Christian (big mistake) not to mention that the Rock and Stone cold aren't coming back. The only real talents they have left is Angle, Flair, Benoit, HHH, and Mysterio. With the exception of MNM the tag team scene is a joke and the rest of the guys they have are mid carders at best. If they don't find some new talent soon that can wrestle and work the crowd TNA might be alot closer than anyone thinks to catching the WWE.

Nice analysis. This period is eerily reminiscent of the early 90's WWF minus the corny gimmick (Goon, PL Hopper). Something unexpected needs to happen to spin the company in a new direction. Laurentitis and the poor writing is the chink in the WWE armor. Guys like Haas and Benjamin could be groomed to be big stars. I like Carlito, but little thought is given to who they lay him out for. I am now and will always be an HBK mark, but he should be utilized in a way to raise guys up more than they are doing. I guess he can still run with the ball but it won' be long before that ship sails.
MNM is the best thing going right now, IMO. Classic wrestling booking. UNTIL they lose clean in what is more or less a title unification match. Tribute or no, whoever greenlighted that should be fired.
There is no consideration for making the first encounter between guys mean something. That match should have been something absolutely specuial and hyped from heaven to hell. In fact, I would take the KotR PPV and not only have the tourney, but also have "WWE Cup" matches where the reigning champs face each other for a special award.
To be honest, after Monday, I wouldn't be sad if the "branding" concept were thrown away. Given the right care given to the writing, everyone would have a chance to shine.

The WWE has some great talent: Carlito, Angle, Benoit, Flair, HHH, Mysterio, Masters(Kidding),
they are just under utilized. Thats the prime reason why i would get rid of Johnny Ace and some of the writers. I would bring back to full time positions Paul heyman.
The addition of Joey Styles is a huge plus. Now they just have to get rid of the coach. Keep the two sides fueding and make it huge. Christian instead of Edge is crazy because Edge is a great wrestler as well. I wouldnt give up edge for christian. But i would give up Masters and keep Christian(even let go of Jordan and some other schmo and keep Christian
Yes Eddie is a definite and long term blow to the roster but this will now give Chavo a chance to step in and make a name and keep his uncle's legacy going. I know he wont disappoint.
With TNA growing with stars, they will get better. They just need to hire more quality peeps.

I'm sorry but Carlito isn't a great talent, he's sloppy and the only real talent I left off my earlier list was HBK who still has some of the best matches WWE puts on.

Styles is a huge plus but they never should have gotten rid of JR. Now get rid of Michael Cole and then replace him with Styles and that's an upgrade. Christian is a better performer and better on the mic than Edge.

Losing Eddie is a HUGE blow to the WWE and despite his talent Chavo will never be anything more than a mid-carder. Compare him to Owen Hart versus Eddie To Bret. He just doesn't have that "it" quality.

I think given the right timeslot and good promotion TNA could seriouly challenge WWE by the summer of next year. They have argueably the best young talent in the buisiness and they are willing to let them shine. AJ Styles is a superstar waiting to happen.
