I am trying to find some svhs tapes. can anyone point me in the direction to where I get them? I don't mind buying in bulk if the price is right. I found a few sites that sold them seperately but they were around $7.00+ each. they have to be cheaper than that somewhere, right? please help.

Did you check in your local B&M Electronic Superstores like, Best Buy, Circuit City, ABC Warehouse, etc?
