So going through all my old stuff I noticed I have a massive collection of baseball/basketball/football cards. Lot of Michael Jordans, Kobes, Shaqs and so forth in there.

I used to be very involved in the sports card world, but that was about 6-8 years ago. Is eBay the best way to sell? Is Beckett still a reliable source for pricing? Should I sell now, or wait for the future when the prices might go back up? Thanks.

Stuff isn't worth jack unless it's PSA graded.

As a avid collector I do not think the future looks too bright for cards. All the newer cards are not even worth the paper they are printed on. The only cards that will continue to hold their value is the vintage cards (pre 70's).
If you sell on Ebay be prepared to sell for 1/4 book value, more if you happen to have a hot player. Rookie cards do somewhat well, autograph cards do well. Relic cards forget it unless it is a old time player....

Well that's a shame. I have tons of Jordans and Shaqs from the 80s and 90s and plenty of other cards. Should I just hold on to them and hope for a future where they surge back up in price?

Or is time to eBay them now and just cut my losses?
