Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Deluxe - $16.99 at MediaPlay

My local MediaPlay had the 2-disc Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for $16.99 (interestingly enough, the single disc was also $16.99).

My local Media Plays (Mattydale and Dewitt, NY) had it as well.

Unless you live in an area of the country that taxes your DVD purchases at a rate greater than 10.5%, MediaPlay would be a better deal.

Any idea if it is the same price at Sam Goody? We have one of those near by instead. I may swing down during lunch tomorrow.

Not every state and city has a MediaPlay though, so DDD is probably the next best route. Especially if you wait for a certain sale that should be coming up shortly.

Is this the cheapest price on the block? Does Media Play have advertisement to PM with?

I got mine at DDD. I know Amazon had it for $15.99 a few weeks ago, but this is just as cheap if you were only getting this title.

Actually, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was $16.98 a couple weeks ago. Still a good price.

I think this deal may be dead because I just went to the Media Play in Appleton, WI and had the guy behind the register ring it up. It came to $22.99, of course now with DDD sale it seems that is the cheapest way to do it
