It's kinda funny to think that if Miami were to beat New England this week they'd be tied atop the AFC East at 4-5.

THat would SUCK for a Keep 'Em league.

I think Miami has a legit shot against the Pats. Mia needs to do better on 3rd down and run the ball 30-40 times during the game. I think if they do that, while holding onto the ball...they'll win.

Well with the Jets, Bears, and Bills coming up the Panthers should be 9-2 be the time they face Atlanta in should be a game of the year candidate.

I went 13-1 last week (stupid tenn.) anyway, here's who I'm going with this week:

NYG CHI DET NE JAC KC IND DEN CAR SEA WAS ATL PIT PHI

I am torn between the Philly/Dal game which I think could go either way. Also, Buffalo (as Mel Kiper said) is desperate and could possibly beat KC. I still think KC will win even w/o Holmes. Anyway, post comments if you see anything that stands out or anything.

Told you it was a fine. I didn't realize it was such a large fine.
ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -- Redskins running back Clinton Portis and safety Sean Taylor were fined by the NFL on Thursday for uniform violations in last Sunday night's game against Philadelphia.

Portis was fined $20,000 for wearing black shoes, which did not match the rest of the team, and also for wearing striped socks and an unapproved eye shield. Taylor was hit for $5,000 for the striped socks.

The burgundy and gold striping made the socks look like barber shop polls. Taylor had them on both legs, Portis on one.

Last year, both were fined twice for socks violations, the first time $5,000 apiece and the second time $10,000.

You clearly don't recall last year's trip to Miami by the Pats. They had that game completely won, but fluke play upon fluke play found a way for Miami to win. Expect something similar to happen today ... assuming the Pats don't get blown out.

Because CBS only shows 3 games/week in HD. Add to that the fact that the Ravens sucks and are always a low-end CBS game means that they are rarely in HD.

Fox shows all their games in HD.

Maddox got really lucky with that penalty, but the fans still gave him an earful. It looks like the Steelers are gonna rely on their defense to win the game, because the Browns defense was able to hold back their running game at the end of the drive, and there's no way Maddox is gonna go for anymore passing plays.

The commentator said something about the fans doing something to Maddox's home and family, and about all the shit he's had to go through. Can anybody fill me in on what happened to him? I know he's not exactly a reliable QB anymore, and he also threw the INT to Jacksonville to give them the win, but is there more to the story than that?

Maybe to catch-up the people who happen to tune in for halftime and keep them around for the second half?
