I'd say if quality is important to you, but you can't settle on quality because of the size... just wait and save until you have the money to get both. I didn't want to sacrifice the actual screen height of my 32" flat screen 4:3 tube TV when buying a widescreen TV that was HDTV. So I had to wait until I could afford a 42" widescreen HD TV.

Quality. Definately. I'd go with the flat tube CRT (Samsung).
I had to make the same choice a couple years ago and got a flat-tube 20" CRT. While small, I definately was glad I went with the nicer picture. And now my new 32" LCD looks simply HUGE compared to the 20" (another advantage, in a way).

Thanks all, so I guess you all would take quality over size.

Looks good but I may stick with the Dynaflat because it got more favorable reviews.
