I've decided to try something new. I've decided to try a point based trading system. I'm hoping that this might make trading easier. THe way it will work is that i will assign a number to my titles, most times it will be 1 or 2, but it could go as high as 10. I will also do this for my wants, same rules 1, 2 up to 10. Now the easy part is just matching up the totals. As long as its close, ie within 1, i don't think there will be any issues. As for dealing with preorders, if your GOLD i have no problem shipping a few days before the release date, as long as you ship day of release or soon after. If no gold, then it will vary. On to the items. Values are in brackets and for each individual item.

I hate to use the first response here to throw your point system for a loop...but I have a question for you. How much would you want for just one of the Beauty and the Beast slipcovers? I picked up the release used a while back at a GameStop, but it was without the slipcover. I'm anal, so I'd love to pick one up if possible. How much would you need for it? I'm also interested in Sleeping Beauty (the entire thing, not just the slipcover), if that'd help us get something going. Unfortunately, I don't have anything from your wishlist.

Here's what I'm thinking. If you'd be willing to part with the slipcover, and you don't mind if the discs come sealed or not (I'd guarantee they'd be shipped in perfect, like-new condition), I'd be willing to trade any of the following two pre-orders for Sleeping Beauty and one of the Beauty and the Beast slipcovers:

Red Eye
Fantastic Four
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Polar Express 2-disk
Madagascar

They all represent potential blind-buys for me (in order of the ones I'd prefer to trade, since Madagascar is pretty much a definite blind buy, whereas Fantastic Four and Red Eye I'm much more on the fence with). Like I said, if you don't mind whether or not they come sealed, it'd give me a free rental before I shipped them your way (and potentially save me $10-20 on buying the title blind).

I know I'm making all sorts of abnormal requests (let me open and watch your DVDs before I send them to you, trade me just a slipcover, etc), but let me know if you think we might be able to get something worked out. Thanks.

NatrlBornthrllr: If your looking for the Slipcover it might not be that big of deal, i'll check at a few stores i know and see if i can scrounge an extra one for ya. If i can, i'd be willing to do a 2 for 1 plus the slip as long as it doesn't take 2 weeks for ya to watch the movies. If i can't find an extra slip, then i still might do the deal but it depends if two other people are all gun ho for the slipcovers included.

If you give me till sometime wed. i'll know for sure, maybe even tomorrow if i can get out there. I'll also let you know which 2 movies i'd like.
