Nice review, but what's up with: "Paul Verhoeven's big breakout film from 1981, the fantastic submarine epic Das Boot."

Do you mean Wolfgang Petersen? I'm fairly certain Verhoeven was not involved in any way with Das Boot.

Hey Scott, I know you said all the disc were the same, but i heard a rumor that the commentary didn't port over on das boot...can you please confirm this for me...This is the only thing holding back a buy for me.
