Jeremiah: Season 1 $17.34 plus shipping (& tax in FL) @ DVD Pacific (price mistake?)
http://www.dvdpacific.com/item.asp?ID=562718
Members Price: $17.34
Retail Price: $79.96
Members Save: $62.62 ( 78% )
For those of you who may not have got this months and months ago from Walmart.com for $12.XX plus ship & tax this is great deal, as DDD sells this for $52.30..
this might be price mistake, and might get canceled, and dvd pacific DID have a security breach last year (which I assume is corrected now) but I figured I'd point this out for anyone interested..
this is a great show (imo) but unfortunately season two isn't on dvd.

(they also have the Friday 3 Pack for $18.49 plus s/h (DDD sells for $27.96, didn't figure this title warranted a seperate thread.. http://www.dvdpacific.com/item.asp?ID=50016)

From July 2004 price mistake:
We regret to inform you that the title National Geographic: Ultimate National Geographic DVD Collection has been supplied to us at an incorrect price. This price will now be amended in our database and we therefore cannot honor the price as originally advertised. Consequently we will be deleting this title from your order.
We sincerely apologize for this error and the inconvenience caused.
Edit - but I'm in anyhow. Thanks Pilot.

When I chesck the delivery confirmation number they sent me, all I keep getting is this:
The tracking information for this item was received by the US Postal Service at 12:00 PM on 11/14/2005, but the item has not yet been scanned in the mailstream. Please check back later.
It's said this for four days.
Anyone else receive theirs yet or have the same message as me??

the post office does not scan them in "dumb" in my opinion.
they will scan sometimes if its media mail when it hits certain hubs.
but most of the time it will only show up delivered after you get it.

Post Office doesn't scan electronic delivery confirmation upon receipt. Besides, it's Delivery Confirmation, not tracking.
Received my set today! WOOT. Thanks OP!
Amazon: $71.96
DVDPacific: $21.27 (includes shipping)
SAVINGS $50.69
I had netflixed this series last summer b/c of the HUGE MRSP and really wanted see it since I don't have Showtime. Really enjoyed the series. I hope they release season 2.
I can't believe MGM/SONY hasn't lowered the SRP on this set considering it's been out for so long. Look at all the Stargate sets, you can get them for $30 now.

if you ship items and create your own labels you can ask the post office to scan it in.
they may argue but they can do it..just like your postman his/her scanner he/she uses when he/she drops off your package also has the function built in to scan items he picks up.
trying to be politically correct here

POST-APOCALYPTIC.
Not Sci-Fi in the sense of Aliens or Supernatural stuff, but just plain old science fiction end of the world. Think Stephen Kings the Stand minus the Flagg/God stuff...
Defintely a good show. Also, since it originally aired on SHOWTIME, don't be surprised to see many a naked lady!

I bought Jeremiah season 1 via the Wal Mart misprice. Season 1 is pretty good overall. The episodes are kind of hit or miss. The first season ends with a great cliffhanger.
Season 2 is much better, but MGM does not seem to have any plans to release it on DVD. I had to search the Internet and find some season 2 vcds.
