His quote at the very start is wrong. If he had listened to the commentary on season one, he'd know the lyrics to the theme song are "Hey Sandy, DOES YOUR DOG BITE?" which is much sweeter than the authoritarian lyrics he has concocted.

Hello, Carl here and I just wanted to say that I was as surprised as you were to find out what the real lyrics to "Hey Sandy" are. For years I had been wrong in thinking that the line was "Hey Sandy, does your dog bite... his own leg?" However, a quick google search will show that the "Hey Sandy" lyrics that I have posted in my reviews for BOTH "The Adventures of Pete & Pete" Season One (<A HREF="http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=16839">"Review here</a>) and Season Two (<A HREF="http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=18534">"Review here</a>) are correct as written by Miracle Legion/Polaris lead singer Mark Mulcahy. The song is actually an update of Harvey Andrew's "Hey Sandy" which was written about Sandy Schuer, a student at Kent State who was shot by the national guard during the riots in 1970.
