I wasn't very impressed with last weeks episode... But wow, this episode was one of the better hours of television I've watched in a while. Bizarre, but quite an enthralling story and concept.

I felt the story wasn't anything new, but the gore on this series keeps surprising me. And I'm liking the

Another solid episode. I still remember Showtime's last 2 attempts at a horror series ("Creature Features" and "The Hunger") and this is a huge improvement over those. The story was familiar (at least to me, and probably to viewers who don't know HPL just because the basic themes have been oft-used) but the male lead was good and the time went by fast. And 2 jolts at the end really elevated things:
Spoiler:
First, having Brown Jerkin rip the throat out of the baby -- graphic baby-killing really lets you know the producers won't shy away from anything. And then, having BJ "burrow" inside the guy's body before ripping out Alien-style.
You won't see anything like that on network tv-horror.
