there's a fantastic zombie movie that just came out on DVD called "Dead Meat"

it's very well done and it's an Irish film, at times the accents are so thick I had to turn on the subtitles to understand them, even tho it was english. It's really scary and as far as I know has the very first Zombie Cow!

click here to see the trailer

also...
"Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" is a must for any Zombie Collection
and there's a 70's european film called "Zombie Lake" which has great cheesy Nazi Zombies and hot girls that get naked for no real reason! (why do zombies only show up when girls are naked or having sex?)

It may not qualify as a zombie film. But, I always liked 1962 "Carnival of Souls".

Check out "28 Days Later". While not strictly a zombie film, it has many of the qualities of the finest entries in the genre.

I seen this film at blockbuster and picked it up, IT was pretty interesting and the long walks through the valley at night was pretty cool. Not to mention the encounters at the house.

I own it, I just didnt post it.

So who said you had to post in it?

I'd go with the original Night of the Living Dead.

I've seen only a few of the ones w/o astericks. So.... out of those, I liked Stacy.

Best Zombie movies are the ones where the "nightmare" is just starting and
civilization is crumbling..
Night,Dawn- original and remake...........
