In case anyone is wondering, S8 is far and away the best in terms of PQ than any of the other seasons. In fact I'd say it's right up there among the best TV to DVD transfers I've seen.
This is a huge departure from the usual mediocre-crappy transfers on the previous 7 seasons.
Now we can only hope they offer the trade in for the DVD with the Threads episode so we get the full, unedited version, instead of the syndicated one now included.
