Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has ever PM'd on a 2 for 20$ or 3 for 20$ type deal somewhere? The reason I ask is that none of the Best Buys in my area have THX 1138 2 disc in stock anymore and was going to try Target or Circuit City for it with PM instead of rainchecking BB. I would be buying one of the other movies too from 2 for 20$ ad at BB, so anyone think it would be a problem or has anyone tried it before? Thanks in advance.

I've pricematched a 2 for $20 deal before, and only had to buy one disc, for $10.

CC is the way to go if they have it in stock. They give you that little extra money off the difference. So it would be closer to 2 for $19.50.

I've pricematched a 2 for $20 deal from CC at my local Wal-Mart. This was early in the year when they had the GoodFellas SE (2-disc) and Fargo SE. It worked out great since Wal-Mart is much closer than CC -- saved time and gas. And just tonight (11/2), I pricematched Best Buy's (and CC's, for that matter) $12.99 for Office Space SE. WM had it for $14.84.

Wow I didn't even know Walmart pricematched. I think half the time though for me it would be a hassle with Walmart. I have enough hassles there as is without Pricematching. Plus any box set I want ot get at Walmart is always bent or creased in some way. But for you it does sound easier since the Walmart is much closer. In my area I have 3 CC, 4 BB and 4 Walmarts all within spitting distance. We are overrun and yet I still can't find a lot of the DVDs I need.
But thanks so much for all the info everyone. I found both THX 1138 SE and Tron at a local CC and had no problem with pricematching, great deal, I really love BB ad blunders. I hope we get a lot more in the coming weeks for Christmas.

You lucked out, the last time I priced matched a Best Buy price at
Circuit City they called the local Best Buy to make sure they had the CD in stock before they rang it up.

That would've sucked. I actually went to the same CC later to pricematch the R. Kelly DVD since no BB in my area seems to have gotten it in. CC had plenty though and had no trouble saving a buck on the PM. I guess I just got one of those cashiers who doesn't care about CC losing some money or not.
Buy:
