Was 'Insomnia' really a favor so Nolan could do Batman?
I read this awhile back when Insomnia came out. Was it Batman Begins, Nolan wanted to do or was it a different movie?

The only thing similar I've heard is that Nolan took BATMAN BEGINS because he was going to do a movie on Howard Hughes, but 86ed it when Martin Scorcese decided to do his own movie on Hughes.
