Mouse/keyboard on the PS2

I found this thing called "Max Shooter" for the PS2. It lets you use a PC mouse/keyboard on the PS2. I always hated using analog sticks for FPS games, so I am thinking about buying this "Max Shooter" thing. Has anyone ever used it before? Is it any good?

This is the link to the "Max Shooter" webpage: http://www.cliffracer.com/store/prod...roducts_id/113

I don't know much about this brand. A similar device called the Smartjoy Frag , has gotten some pretty good reviews. This is the first one I've seen for the PS2. The biggest problem with these is the deadband control. Getting your mouse to mimick a analog stick is apparently not that easy to do. For $20 this might be worth a try.

The problem is that an FPS game on a console is going to be made to work on that console's native controller. No adapter will give you the control you're looking for because that game's just not designed that way. Keep that in mind and if just having the physical mouse is important to you than go for it.

I was wondering the same thing about the Solcom games, would a mouse work there?
