I don't know if this has been posted yet, but I stopped in EBGames tonight to find they are having a buy 2 get 1 free on DVDs (and possibly games, forgot to ask). I didn't find out how long it was going to last since I was playing the X-Box 360 Kong demo, but I picked up The 4400 first season (priced at 4.99), Escape from New York (priced at 7.99) and Unleashed (not the unrated slipcover version, but only 6.99). I ended up paying 15 bucks so not too bad. I did notice they had a lot of better prices on used DVDs too, they even had the Total Recall Special packaged Mars edition for only 4.99, and I'm pretty sure it was sealed.

I was glad to see EB finally starting to get into the game with these used DVDs again. They did still have 14.99 prices on certain movies like Shark Tale and Beavis and Butthead Do America though.

Reason they are getting into the game:

GameStop took over EB Games.

Prices might drop below GameStop temporarily to flush out overstock, then GameStop's entire "shipping out/shipping in" of used titles should start and pricing should start matching. Nice find on Unleashed, even though it's not the UE.

Dropped by two local EB's yesterday. One had crap. The other had Father Ted Series 3 for 13.99, Around the World in 80 Days (1956) for 8.99 and the Alfred Hitchcock Signature Box for 11.99. I was dumbfounded. Thanks for the info on the deal!

Yea, some good deals. I was just able to get Notorious (Criterion) and Hamlet (Criterion) for cheap and part of the B2G1.
