Ultimate Matrix Limited Edition $41.04 at Overstock (possible 10% off)

Dunno if this has been posted before (I can't search--it says "searching has been disabled"), but overstock.com has the 10 disc set with the bust for $41.14. Shipping is 2.95 max no matter how much you buy. If you spend over $70 you can get 10% off with the link below (I was emailed a free shipping link, but it didn't work. I've seen a 10% off $75 link, which didn't work. And I saw a $7 off $70 link, which is instead giving me 10% off--their coupons are weird! You have to be a new customer to use the coupon, so I just signed up for a new account and used a different credit card)
coupon link (dvdtalk-ified): http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....E&PAGE_ID=2641
Link directly to ultimate matrix limited if you just want to look:
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....prod_id=998352

Good items to get you over $70:
Alias 4th Season 37.99 - 10%
Big Fish SE 9.93 - 10%
Blind Date Uncensored 8.67 - 10%

$39 at DDD or $41.94 with the Bust, free shipping. I realized this after I ordered through overstock, now Im trying to cancel my order.

Awesome, they want to charge me a $4.95 re-stocking fee. Die overstock die!!

I guess I will keep it if it is the bust version. Only 50 cents more than DDD, but this is looking like it will be the going price for this set with a lower MSRP and I think it will be $34 at the 20% off sale.

FYI $7 off $70 is equivalent to 10% off

I know that. But the $7 coupon isn't just giving $7 off--it is giving 10% off. So you can go over $70 and still get 10% off...

Just keep it. Overstock has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

Wish I had checked DDD first as well. I never expected it to be this cheap elsewhere. Still a darn good price, though... I never expected to be buying this...

It's an insane price for a great set. I would have jumped in if not for the fact that I paid $71.99 for it at BB after a 20% off coupon when it was released last year (Ouch).

DDD shows the item now as a pre-order. It looks like their supplies of it are kaput. Just an FYI, in case you are thinking of waiting to buy this.

Once added to the cart you get this message "* This item is a pre-order. It will ship to arrive on or around the scheduled release date."

No that is not what it means. When ever DDD has a price drop scheduled (which in the case of this title it is on 11/1/05) they do it as a preorder. So you are safe to order, they have them in stock.

The LE is freakin' cool, but it takes up a fair amount of footprint though.

Is this price at DDD for a limited time or for a sale that expires soon? I'm wanting to pick this up, but I need to slow down my spending some.

It looks like a permanent price drop, but I wouldn't count on the distributor having tons and tons of these. They aren't manufacturing more to sell at this price--they're trying to clear out unsold stock. It's probable that they will run out, but it should last a little while...

I hope the dealer you purchased it from packs it well. I received three of these set that were cracked and/or broken and had to return them all. The case is extremely fragile. The postal service has no mercy...
