My Costco (Houston) has Volume 3 for $41.69... Not much of a deal - I'll wait for Fry-day...

But! They also have Volumes #1 & #2 for $26.99! Quite a deal if you don't have those already... Kinda makes me want to wait til next year to buy #3, though...

thanks for the info!

Yea the whole waiting thing seems to be a good plan for tv sets. Ive started doing that with things like the simpsons as they seem to drop after they've been out a while....specially if you buy them together. Of course when it comes to the looney tunes, i sort of want them a.s.a.p and will likely just pick the set up at best buy to acrew (sp?) some points towards the reward zone coupons.

I think you spell it accrue? But yeah i agree with waiting this seems to be a good idea on most things, like on the new STRIPES and a couple others that dropped real quick to the 2 for 20 deals etc. I like LT as much as anyone but if I can wait for them to be around 30 bucks at Costco......heck yeah.

My Costco (Iwilei) had no Looney Tunes (1, 2, or 3).

I was looking to get Vol. 1 and 2 for cheap.

My Sam's Club had the Vol. 3 set for $33.88, best price I've seen.

$41.xx is a great deal. MSRP is $64.99. My Circuit City didn't have it, and Wherehouse was $49.99. I'll check my Costco on Thursday.

I had a $10 electronic coupon for Best Buy that I got with the purchase of Lost Season 1. I used it for the Looney Tunes Vol 3 . I got it for about $35 including tax. Or you can say I got Lost for $10 less then I paid. Whatever.
Great documentary included in set, "Chuck Amuck", about Chuck Jones that ran on PBS several years ago. I also like that they include the wrap arounds for one Bugs Bunny Show on each of these sets.

I may have to check at Sam's Club soon, then. I wasn't going to grab this now, but for a little over $30 I probably can't pass that up.

Because of this thread, I cajoled the boss's wife into taking a trip to Sam's Club today. She has a membership, I don't. I found it there for $35.86. Sweet! Thanks, for the heads-up, dvdirv!

They also have Volumes #1 & #2 for $26.99!
Last week I went looking for this deal at my local Costco stores (Burbank and Atwater Village in LA) to no avail, but today Atwater Village had both of them for $26.99. Burbank still didn't have them. So if you couldn't find them last week at your Costco you may want to check again.
