If you're a Hitchcock fan, there's a German edition of Blackmail with fantastic picture quality and the full silent editon as a bonus. (This title just leapt to mind, since it was my last purchase at Amazon.de.)

There a good, 16:9 version of Picnic at Hanging Rock available in Germany, and it's also the only release with the deleted scenes (although these are in German).

Also, the shorter, international theatrical cut of Heavenly Creatures is available in Germany.

Franka Potente's BLUEPRINT is not available in R1 land.
There is also a film from the director of Aimee and Jaguar that I found to be very interesting -September, which was actually shown during Cannes' UnCertain Regard Series.
