will 3rd party games start embracing wifi on handhelds?

AFAIK, every new game for PSP and DS (when it comes out with wifi) should be internet enabled if it has a multiplayer mode. That'd be great to play poker with people all over the world on a DS.

So is this ever going to happen? I hope so.

I'd imagine so. Shouldn't cost the developers anything since Nintendo is making the network free for all. So they have no disincentive to including wifi support.

Probably the same on the PSP, but I don't know much about sony's online plans as I don't plan on buying a PSP.
