Yes, they both do. They're very nice romance films; Il Mare being more drama and serious, The Classic being more a romantic comedy.

Just watched Il Mare last night...usually slow paced movies turns me off but it was a GREAT movie indeed

The Classic is even better, but it's longer too. It's directed by the same guy who did My Sassy Girl and Windstruck.

Il mare is a perfect combination of music and imagery, The Classic is a good quality run of the mill teenage romance.

Il mare is better in my book.

I just finally watched The Classic last night even though I bought it 2 weeks ago. I thought the movie was great and very touching. It did start off kinda slow and long but it grew on me. Probably my favorite romance film as of right now.
