Hard to find Playstation games?

I'm looking for hard to find or rare playstation games. I've been looking at ebay for some that I can think of. So far I have...

Intelligent Cube
Parappa the Rapper
Devil Dice

I know there are some other great games that are hard to find nowadays. Any others I can look for?

Not sure how hard to find some of these are but here are some games I'd look out for.

Tales of Destiny
Tales of Destiny II
Dragon Warrior VII
Torneko: The Last Hope
Um Jammer Lammy
Legend of Mana
Symphony of the Night
Mr. Driller
Klonoa
Valkyrie Profile

Parappa the Rapper is rare? I thought it was heavily promoted.

Valkyrie Profile is like the Panzer Dragoon Saga of the Playstation. Mint copies can bring $120-140 on Ebay. Sealed copies are bringing $175-200.

I remember selling Final Fantasy Tactics for $80 with strategy guide on ebay a few years ago. Then a few months later it came out as a greatest hits for $20. I'm sure who ever bought it from me was pissed.

Just about a week after Final Fantasy Tactics and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night were released as Greatest Hits, I was able to find non-GH versions of them at my local videogame store that hadn't been there before. I guess somebody held on just a little too long.

I sold my Super Puzzle Fighter 2 on Ebay for around $80 a couple years ago. It looks like it's only worth $20 now for some reason.

I think it was reprinted. I've seen brand new copies in several Game Stops recently.

Definitely Suikoden II. I had two copies of the game and sold one last year on ebay for $176. Also the Ogre Tactics games are pretty rare.

Now that I think about it the Lunar Box sets and Arc the Lad box sets might be pretty hard to find as well.

NOOOOoooooooo!

That's OK, I have a copy in excellent condition. I could have sold it back when it was going for over $100 a copy, but I still play it regularly.

Blockbuster has Castlevania for $9.99. Instead of Devil Dice, get Bombastic on PS2. Easier to find and basically the same game.

even though both have had small re-prints recently, would you consider Rhapsody and Persona 2 still rare?

Have you ever heard of a game called Kartia? Thought so.

I have never seen it before but the reviews weren't too bad and always wanted to try it. It is a strategy rpg like Disgaea and Final Fantasy Tactics. Surprisingly, it has really nice character designs by Yoshitako Amano (Final Fantasy).

I also have never seen the RPG Maker series or the Fighter Maker 2 series, they look like they'd be fun to fool around with at least.

Kartia's not bad, but it's pretty simplistic and easy. It did have some cool ideas, like making your own spells and summoning monsters to fight with you, but you didn't really have to put much thought into it since the game was so easy. It may have been worth playing at the time, but especially with the recent glut of strategy RPGS on the PS2, I don't think it would be worth seeking out now.

You know pretty much any RPG that was released for PS1 is worth at least a little money now a days. Thankfully I was way into that genre and own many of the games mentioned in this thread.

I had a mint copy of Intellicube, I gave it away as a gift to a collector I know at work.

I occasionally see the rare RPGs in various EB/GS stores, but haven't seen Bust a Groove, Intellicube and the like in ages.

Let me specify Final Fantasy I-VI and IX. I don't want this man's beautiful artwork sullied by the characters of the "other" Final Fantasy games. Of course, out of those seven games, the only time you get to see anything even remotely resembling his great art is the face portraits to Final Fantasy VI.

Interestingly enough, he did do art for VII and VIII that's very hard to find. His art was on the cover to one of the soundtracks to VII while the rest of the stuff I've only seen in an artbook of his. I also have full size posters of his interpretations of Bat-Man and Superman.
