Parodies to end it all. both coming on 11.01.05.
I have the old Starwoids disc, and it can be funny/borderline insane. Star Wars the musical is the lamest thing I had ever seen.
The Jar-Jar Binks one looks identical to the one I've had for years (including the cover art).

I just watched "Starwoids" this afternoon, and frankly, it was borderline embarassing to watch. I identified with the whole Episode 1 toy run segments, which were fun, but the rest was just a reminder why I seperated myself from "that group" and broadened my horizons furthur.

agreed...but its fun to see how crazy people are. Cinemania remains a favorite for that reason.

Are they allowed to do this because it's parody?
What about Star Wars one man show? How are people able to legally do this?
(not arguing against it...just curious) Am happy that they are doing it by the way.

not sure on the legality of the whole thing. I know parody is allowed, and at the same time Lucas has for the most part embraced short films as long as they are not obscene, and not making cash...this is making money, so I am not sure how they get a cut of the pie.

Yes, you're allowed to do most of this stuff because it is parody and allowed under fair use.
(The Star Wars One Man Show actually has licensed permission from Lucasfilm.)

The list of extras is at http://www.starwoids.com/
