Costco 10/4/05 Cinderella $18.29 $35 Interpreter $18.29 Into/West $31.49 Hitchcock

Note: Costco's stock varies from store to store, so availability may vary from store to store. Most of the new titles and promotions should be available though.

**NOTE: Some members are reporting different pricing being reported by a few stores (I believe San Francisco, CA and one in New York state). Usually a $1 or so higher. Hopefully they'll go back to national pricing soon, so for now just be aware that it can happen.

They finally restocked Lost s1 today, so I picked that up.

Might pick up one of those cheap Hitchcock titles if I ever get around to figuring out if any of the ones I don't have are worth it.

Also, added Peep's and The Escapist's prices where I didn't already have them. Thanks.

Was Strangers on a Train the 2 disc special edition? If it is, I'll bite for $9.

What's up with the Costco version of the Hitchcock masterpiece box size? it's like the size of a shoe box. is there the normal size box within? I don't think my shelves are big enough to handle it. Anyone know? thanks.

No, single disc, two sided version. Which I own. It's not bad, but I haven't seen the 2 disc version, so I can't comment on how it compares.

laserdogg, thanks, I updated the list.

Rogue588...seeing as how the thread was over a month overdue, I'm hardly in a position to pick on anyone for being late!

Thanks and good job as always. On a related note, I just received my Costco coupons in the mail today for the month of October. Alas, there were no DVD coupons. I was really hoping for a $10 off coupon on Fox TV sets(Roswell 3, Millennium 3).

I've never received coupons in the mail. Sometimes they have a book when I go in, but that's it... Anyone know why?

Yes, velvet box is inside. Discs are in four standard-sized cardboard cases, four DVDs in three of them, three in the other. They look nice, but cardboard won't hold up well. I'll probably put the four cases on the shelf with my other Hitchcocks instead of the larger box.

FYI, it was $75.99 at Portland-area Costco.

thanks. I assume it's just the extra packaging costco seems to do with it's dvds (like they do for Disney treasures. the sealed regular version should be within.......I hope

Thanks, but seeing it once was enough for me.

fitzcain, I didn't see any of those titles when I went last...Costco tends to not reorder, so when it's no longer on the shelf, it's probably gone for good at that store for at least a couple months. They may bring some of that back for Christmas sales though.

Bronkster, I didn't see an individual copy of Nemesis SE.

BTW, the title listed as "Time-Life Shakespeare" is better known as BBC's "The Shakespeare Plays". The same box Costco has for $60 (Tragedies) is available online for about $149 from Amazon and others. This is a great price! I hope they get the "Comedies" and "Histories" boxes also.
