Need help connecting 2nd dvd player
My receiver has digital inputs for dvd, tv/sat,cd, lp, dat, and a tape player. I am assuming that if I connect the 2nd dvd player through video 1, but connect the digital input to say the CD input it will not work...is this correct. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get digital quality without having to connect and reconnect every time I switch dvd players?

I have 3 dvd players connected into my a/v receivers, plus an LD player and a DVD recorder (which is a 4th dvd player, too, I suppose).
cseaw, you can hook it up as you asked. When you're ready to watch, select your video input first then whatever your audio input is second.

dleedlee: This makes perfect sense. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks to everyone.
