Asian Horror DVD:

Entrails of the Virgin - "It will tear your insides out"

What a strange title. Just letting you know up front you are going to see intestines ripped out?

Tale of two sisters for $8.49 is a good price for the two disc set.

Unborn but forgotten "A website seemingly kills every woman who views it within 15 days." That doesn't sound familiar does it?

I had just bought Oldboy from Circuit City this weekend for $12.99. Fortunately, I hadn't broken the seal, so back it goes. I picked up Oldboy, A Tale of Two Sisters and Batman Begins to qualify for free shipping. Thanks for saving me $4.50 plus tax on Oldboy NMA.

Is OLDBOY the uncut version? I'm kinda surprised this isn't unrated.

Are any of the $5.99 discs worth picking up?

Thanks, been wanting Oldboy, and at that price, I can't resist!

Edit: I ended up ordering Oldboy, Samaritan Girl, and Wild Zero (rock 'n roll zombie flick? count me in!). Thanks, OP! I'm really glad I clicked on this thread.

Thanks. I got Oldboy back in August for twice what Amazon is charging, but I've already opened and watched it. Spider Forest, on the other hand, looks interesting. Has anyone seen it?

Entrails is not for the weak stomach folks. The first Eye movie is very good and I enjoyed Stacy.

Presuming Amazon's stock has the same UPC as your original purchase (and chances are it does, Oldboy is not a big enough title in the USA to warrant multiple UPCs like some DVDs) then you can buy it from Amazon and return the sealed copy from Amazon to your original place of purchase for a refund.

I'm so glad to hear it. It sounded too good to pass up. I was shooting for rewatchability, and it definitely felt like it met up.

Definitely some nice deals there! Better than the recent DDD sale on some of the same.

I picked up Stacy, Wild Zero, Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Demons 1 & 2, Oldboy (again, for a present this time), Sleepaway Camp, and some other stuff at good prices.

Thanks for the heads-up,

Bob

Holy crap! There are some really great deals here... especially in the first link (Asian) and the last link (Anchor Bay).

Which are the best deals?

For example DVDEmpire is selling the Demons 1 and 2 for only $5.99 so those aren't really a hot deal.

If we get any more horror sales, we'll need a thread to organize the best deals. As a lot of these stores have overlaps at different prices.

Definitely some nice pricing. I hope people unfamiliar with Asian films will use this opportunity to at least sample some of them.

I picked up A Tale of Two Sisters and Hellraiser: Inferno. In general I hate the Hellraiser sequels, but this one was surprisingly watchable. I'm anxious to see Two Sisters.
