DVD Talk review of 'Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie'
I read Lacey Worrell's DVD review of Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=17975 and... I feel she has no connection to what it is that gets the kids excited. My daughter loves Lumpy and you can only find him in two films, and thanks to reviewers like this we may not see a third.
Thank you very much biased reviewer.

I think feedback, positive or negative, is always very helpful to me as a reviewer, so thank you for that. That said, allow me to respond to your comments
1. Of course I'm biased. A movie review is always going to be someone's opinion of the movie. My opinion of this movie is that it was not good. It's not a personal attack on Lumpy, merely an observation that the movie was boring and some of the games were ridiculously difficult to navigate.
2. I have a five-year-old and I am a child psychologist, so I'm not just reviewing this from an adult's perspective, but as a parent as well. I also evaluate family films based on the appropriateness of the content for the age group for which they are intended. At least in that respect, Disney usually does a good job.
3. I think it's great that your daughter loves Lumpy. To my recollection, I did not say anything negative about him or any of the other characters, merely that the story was sub-par.
4. I really, really doubt that the people at Disney will base their decision to do another Heffalump movie based on my lowly opinion. I don't exactly have that kind of power.
Thank you again for your feedback, and I mean that sincerely. A spirited debate is always good for the soul.
