DVD Horror Recommendations? Need titles. Tnx.

October is coming. We are in the mood.

So, please give me some horror titles to look into.

Here is the horror section of our DVD collection which shows titles we have. Might help deciding which future titles to look into.

I see you have Ginger Snaps,Ginger Snaps 2 is pretty good, 3 not as much, but still not bad.
House has always been one of my favorites, it's more horror/comedy, and the second one isn't bad, but it's even more comedy.
Return of the Living Dead 2 is pretty much the 1st again, tho I still find it entertaining, and the third one is good on its own right, it's not even a spoof like the others.
Don't Look in the Basement is pretty good, I have that on my 10-movie Vault of Horror DVD pack.
Copping Mall is good in that cheesy 80's horror kind of way
That's what I can think of off the top of my head from my DVD collection.

You have a nice collection there. I'll only list a few off the top of my head:

You have The Eye, you might like Phone
Takashi Miike's Audition is a must
Freaks and Carnival of Souls are pretty creepy
Cure is good
The Devil's Backbone is great
Bubba Ho-Tep is a great time
Looks like you like zombie flicks... how about Shaun of the Dead?

The Thing (Carpenter)
Evil Dead trilogy
Romero Dead movies
The Beyond
Zombie
City of the Living Dead
Deathdream
Phantasm
Street Trash

Well if you can find them....

The Blob, Carnvial of Souls, Kwaidan, Videodrome, or Eyes Without A Face from the Criterion collection is a fun ecclectic grouping of horror fare.

Good collection (I was getting the willies just reading the list of titles!)

But it is missing The Thing (an essential Horror Movie, IMO), and you have the Psycho sequels, so there's a major hole in the collection in not having the original Psycho (waiting on the anamorphic re-release, I guess?)

And if you like classic ghost stories, check out The Innocents and The Haunting, two of the best ghost horror movies ever made.

Dhmac,

Psycho is part of the Alfred Hitchcock Collection which is why it's not listed with the sequels.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. Some of these I have seen, but I will check those out I haven't as time allows. Netflix has many of these, so I am off to put some in my queue.
