I was at my Target today in Livermore , Ca and along the back wall they had some SE under the drama section. Well under the Color Purple it was priced at 5.99 and had two copies of the 2 disc version in the rack. so I took one up to checkout to pay and it rang up 19.99. So I said to the clerk that it was marked 5.99 back against the wall. she answered 'oh yeah" and changed the ring up on the register. It is most likely just a screw up by this ONE cashier but she did not even hassle me one bit so I guess you never know. Also it was clearly marked 5.99 and there was no other versions anywhere in the store.

It was the lingering effect of the misprice fisco last month. I saw Color Purple and Jaws 30th anniv with the $5.99 price tag at one of the Targets. Took the Jaws to the register and it rang up $19.99. Told the cashier about the price tag and she overwrote it when the supervisor told her it's on sale that week. Anyway, it is back to $16.99 now.
So, it is definitely a YMMV.

I can add Hoosier CE to this as well (it was $8.44 btw). Just in case anybody wants to look for any more DVDs placed on the shelf with a wrong price tag.
