For Nip Tuck standards the premiere was pretty weak. Some of the scenes just felt way too long and boring, and right now Im not even sure why they chose to spend all that time in the first episode on that fat woman plotline. It did pick up at the end though which was nice to see. I hope it keeps up that pace the rest of the season. The rest was slow for any show and much slower than Nip Tuck usually is.

Okay, I know Christian can and will randomly sleep with any woman he comes in contact with, but I felt the sex scene was completely odd and forced.
It takes an investigator reenacting his assault to get him up? But watching a porno with Kimber doesn't? WTF?
I know he got over not performing surgery, but I felt it was a little too soon for him to get his mojo back. And while I loved the threeway, it seemed so forced on us just for the sake of being provocative. (I know that is what this show is about, but I felt it was too soon).
And where the hell was Michael Jackson? The daughter (who has barely been there since her b-day in season 2) gets dialogue and he doesn't?

I thought the premiere was okay, but I think it lost something in my mind since this is pretty much the only show I watch that isn't in Hi-Def.

I'm still amazed that I love a show that is so disgusting and disturbing at times - it's just so good once you begin to break things down.
I would like them to get past the Carver storyline though. But they can bring back the drug-dealer anytime they want.
to the addition of Rhona and throwing her right into the mix.

My guess is Thief will go in the Wed 10 pm slot where Over There currently resides. That or Thief isn't premiering until April after The Shield.
