It also seems that most of the Sesame Street (http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/genre.cfm?genre=DK) dvds are 50 percent off.

Thanks, ordered that Street Racing series.
Just a note: To say this set is horrible is an understatement, After buying it before dor 7.99 I feel 3.99 is still high for the quality of the set.

I unfortunately spent $15 on only one of the Street Racing disc a couple of years ago and it was completely unwatchable. I could've taken a camera into the parking lot and made a better video.

I picked up this disc a few years back. Awesome movie, but the quality pretty much looks like the cover art throughout, unfortunately.

It's not worth the 8.99 I paid for it about 6 months ago, but it's worth 3.99.

Thanks for the heads up, ordered the Rainforest DVD. I was going to order the Street Racing Set just for the hell of it but if it's that bad no sense in throwing away $4.

Take a look at the reviews in Amazon on some of these; this might aptly be titled the "get what you pay for" thread - tho thanks to the OP for the shot at these. Tempted by the IMAXs, but not after reading about them....

I have many of the 'Originally Presented in IMAX' movies and find them fun for $5 or less. I feel sorry for the people who paid $19.99 when they first came out but out of the ones I've watched so far, St Helens, Yellowstone, Wolves, Sedona, Africa , Seasons, Jane Goodalls Chimps, Alien Adventure, they all seem fine. More on the line of a TV hour special and not a movie. I really loved 'The Shape of Life/Origins of Life' group. Look in my collection under IMAX to see a lot of the titles.

The Doctor Zhivago link isn't working, and doing a regular search on DDD doesn't bring it up for the $3.99 price point.

Do you have to have a big tv and surround sound system to enjoy the imax dvd's?
