(DEAD) King Kong Price Mistakes at Walmart.com

King Kong Collection 4 disc 19.88
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...93062302954308

King Kong 2 disc CE 19.88
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...77872592620843

King Kong SE 2 disc 14.85
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...50823925244957

Would be an excellent deal if it were not for the shipping charges and Tax. And that WM will most likely cancel your order.

almost (maybe every) price mistake that's ever been a pre-order at walmart.com has been canceled. so don't get your hopes up, but definately try if you're interested....

It isn't a very bad mistake so maybe it will go through.

They honored my two orders for Jerimiah Season One, and it was insanely mispriced if I remember right. Wasn't it like $15 for a $60 set? It was something like that.

I ordered the King Kong Collection, so hopefully that will go through too.

I actually just placed an order for the 4 disc set, using Bill Me Later...I'm thinking I should have ordered more than just one set at that price, in case it does go through without being red flagged. Great X-Mas gifts for all my DVD addicted friends!

We'll see what actually transpires...

I believe the 4 disc just has the SE, but I could be wrong.

Is the CE and SE the exact same as far as actual DVD content goes?

I think the CE comes in a tin type thing.

I decided to place an order for the Collection. Dvdpricesearch listed the shipping at 5.89 but when I placed an order it was only 2.47 and .99 for tax so it is 23.34. A few dollars less then my pre-order at Amazon.

Jeremiah was far from being a pre-order.

Yeah, looks like they MIGHT honor this as it is not that under-priced. I think they are $27 at Amazon.

They honored some huge GameCube game pricing errors I ordered awhile back so I'll keep my fingers crossed on this one. I used bill me later as well.

Add one more order for the 4-disc box set. (I was hoping to pick it up at Costco, but they have been very inconsistant of late in which WB DVD box sets they stock, so I'll give "the evil empire" a try.)

Many thanks to the OP for the heads-up on this deal, whether Walmart honors it or not.

$22.35 shipped for the 4-disc set! Not bad! :-)

Thanks for the heads up.

They honored Cary Grant Signature collection for about $15, so I'm actually confident this will be honored. I won't be able to order until tomorrow morning, so this better remain!

Thanks OP! If people didn't get greedy and order 10 copies each, this may actually go through.

I can't see three warner releases (one of them two discs) being cheaper than $20, so this is an excellent deal.

Don't believe WM will let any of these thru. Good luck to those that want to TRY. Of all the price mistakes I've seen WM make, no pre-order has made it to ship - even ones that had a short time frame (week or so).

Worth a shot so I jumped in. Thanks, ernestrp.
