Stopped into Gamestop this morning on my way to work. Was going to grab Simpsons 4-6, and I told the guy at the counter that I wanted to buy a copy of the newest Game Informer and use teh B2G1F coupon in there. Thanks for the info. I'll have to stop in at the one by my place tomorrow. I haven't been there since I moved here 2 months ago, so hopefully they'll have something good.

Went in today with the woman, but we didn't know they were having the sale 'till we were in there. She got most of the stuff, but I got the Best of Abbott and Castillo V3 and Chappelle's Show S1, the former which was free because she bought so many other titles. Real good deal if your GS has a nice selection of titles.

Thanks OP for the word! nothing at all at my two GS, but in a state of delusional weakness from a miserable 20 mile circuit, I accidentally wandered into an EB and snagged a gone with the wind 4 disc for 8.99.

Guys, if you find a GameStop with a good selection, you are golden. I got Master and Commander SE, A Knight's Tale and Jerry Maguire for under $11.00 (with their card). In the past, I have gotten THe Insider, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Sleepy Hollow all for that price as well. Hunt for a good locale.

My Gamestop had some pretty good titles in the $5.99/2 for $10 bin. For once it wasn't all Bedazzleds and Monkeybones. Picked up The Grudge (with slipcover), Elf 2-Disc, and Pi for $10 total and change. All had inserts and original advertisments as well, so all in all a good deal.

Hit another GS tonight on the way home, picked up:
Oz season 5: $29.99
King of Queens season 1: $16.99
Mr. Bean - The Whole Bean: FREE ($12.99)
I probably would have bought more, but this GS has changed their display to an annoying stand-up where all the titles are facing forward, forcing you to dig through the rack instead of just looking at the spines. It's too much of a pain in the ass to try and squeeze my hand in the narrow space provided. I told the manager that he probably lost at least $50 if not more on my visit because of it, so we'll see if that gets passed up the line and the display gets changed.

Of course there have been many times where corporate has continued the sale past the initial weekend it was planned. I'll try and stop at a GS on the way into work tomorrow morning and see if the sale is still running.
As for my haul today... man, it was bad. Drove almost 90 minutes south to a batch of Gamestops and didn't find much at all.
Sealab 2021 season 1: $16.99
Greatest American Hero season 1: $14.99
Spirited Away: FREE
Highlander season 6: $39.99
Charmed season 1: $24.99
Beauty & The Beast (Disney 2-disc): FREE
Most of the stores I went to have gone to that crappy dump bin system I mentioned in a previous post. The majority of the time that I mentioned how poor an idea it was to the employees, they agreed. The response was pretty much the same - "it'll kill sales because people don't like to dig through like that, it'll make it a bitch to keep anything organized, but this is what corporate wants... of course the people in corporate have never worked in a store, so they have no clue what they're doing."

The front to back bin they use for 2for $10 sucked but now that they've went to to the new racks on ALL titles...I HATE it!
