I'm going on the record and saying that this show will be canceled in a few weeks. This just looks stupid!

kind of blah so far... anyone else think the sound and the music are mixed poorly? a lot of dialogue seems to be hard to hear over the music

That is Kelly Carlson (Nip/Tuck's Kimber Henry).

Yep, that was Kimber (Kelly Carlson), from Nip/Tuck. Even she wasn't enough for me to derive any enjoyment from this pilot. Ain't it Cool were no doubt heavily under the influence when they favorably reviewed Bones, but they were sober regarding this one. Being up against Lost and Veronica Mars means it certainly won't be tempting me again anytime soon.

I gave it about 12 minutes. I thought it was boring and I could not get into the characters or the set-up of the show at all. In fact it seemed like the rushed into the whole forced set-up of these two characters right away, so I didn't see where it was a big deal for them to work together.

Gah. I have better things to watch. I am even going to give Bones another episode, but this couldn't even keep my interest in the background by the first commercial break.

The show isn't bad when Adam Goldberg is given center stage, too bad he's pushed to the background for most of the show. Chris O'Donnell and his character are awful.

Wow, I can't believe the opinions on this. I actually liked this show especially Adam Goldberg. I thought it had a lot of potential, and will be keeping this season pass for sure. I never know what to expect after I watch a show and then come here to see other people's opinions. It makes for some interesting discussion though.

Horrid! Was it two hours? It sure seemed like it. It's like a David Kelley show that has gone waaay over the top after two or three seasons but it's just the first episode!

I'm glad this show had a premier earlier than the other show in the timeslot. Now I know I can miss it without caring. With the very very stiff competition this show faces, I'm guessing it will be the first show canned this season.

That was definitely a slow hour.

Adam Goldberg was okay, but as someone else stated - he isn't even the central character.

Chris O'Donnell continues to prove that he is a horrible actor.

Yes, Krista Allen is still hot.

And Kelly Carlson has a great ass.

This show won't be back after baseball.

Yeah.. Certainly not a great way to spend an hour!
I'll give it one more chance.. it may be suffering from Pilotitis.
Maybe it'll get better with the second episode? Maybe??

It was ok.. I think the set up at least has room for some interesting show themes.. Not sure the writers can deliver on those themes but I'll give in another chance.. Looks better then that lawyer show with Don Johnson that is on that way but no where near as good as Boston Legal.

That was the only reason I considered tuning in. Apparently, it wasn't enough motivation given the reviews. Sounds like I chose wisely.

Best thing about this episode was Kelly Carlson and Krista Allen. The worst thing was everything else.

I'm glad it sucked. I was worried about next week with Lost and E-Ring premiering.

Yeah, this time slot is interesting since there are SIX one-hour dramas competing on each network. EW was predicting how something will end up changing by November,; there is just too much competition in that hour. I'll bet one of the nets throws some comedies or a reality show in this hour, and I bet it will be Fox.

I didn't mind it that much either, but largely because I just enjoy Adam Goldberg. Not that good but not that terrible either. Of course, Krista Allen can't act for shit, but who cares. Luckily I won't have to decide whether to watch it or not, because this has canceled written all over it.

Interesting. My reaction after about half an hour was, "It's like a David E. Kelley show without the preachy grandstanding."
