What's the OAR of House on Haunted Hill (1958)?
This thread used to be about the new DVD, but I did enough digging on my own to find the answer to my question.
However, I haven't answered the big question. What is the original aspect ratio of House on Haunted Hill? The new Legend Films release is in 1.33:1. The Warner release is in, I think, 1.66:1, and the Diamand release is in 1.85:1. I know there are about two dozen more releases, but I'm not sure of the AR for those.
So does anyone know the proper aspect ratio of this movie?

OAR is 1.85:1 - best to watch it that way as the picture is framed tighter.
1.33:1 you gain picture on top and bottom because its open-matte but that's not the way you'd see it in a cinema.
