No thread yet, lotsofdvds? Slacker!

Eugene was main eventing RAW last summer, now he's teamed with Tajiri. Ouch.

Daniel Puder, the last Tough Enough winner has been released from his contract. He had signed for 4 years. I'm surprised, I thought he was doing well in OVW.

Hardy jobs out again to Edge. Speaking of Edge, they mentioned his money in the bank title shot was for the WWE (Cena) title now. It was originally for the World title.

Trish returns to fight with Ashley. She's got a ready made match with Victoria, and then....I dunno.

Oooh, Jim Ross hates to be reminded about Oklahoma's losses.

Remember when Kurt Angle would wear funny hats and drove a moped around the ring to pester The Undertaker? I miss those days.

Whoooooo!

Big Show is as fat as ever. Shhhhhh.

 -other- Trish! -other-

However, I could picture her standing in the ring after her eventual match with Vicky saying "So....now what?"

Was happy to see Trish. Too bad they brought her back as a face. She's way better as a heel.

I can't believe I'd ever say this, but at this point I am actually looking forward to HHH coming back.

Who would've thought that Josh Matthews would be the most successful Tough Enough contestant? Although we can't forget Chris Harvard who has been out for two years but is still on the payroll.

I'd say John Hennigan aka Johnny Nitro is the most successful. He gets to bang Melina.

thoughts on RAW (9/12)

They want so bad to find a story for Big Show...

Did Coach just make a Lita/cumming joke?

Tag Match... Duh... Bischoff has been the GM of RAW for a few years now, is it really nesissary to introduce himself like that?

Lita's tits look great in that top....

Nothing scientific about booting a guy in the gut...

Lita just grabbed Matt's leg and all the commentators tried to say something, sounded like three marbled mouth idiots...

What a night full of "Who Gives A Shit" matches we have to look forward to...

"Get it up here boy!" HA They love insulting interviewers...

Kerwin White... A piss poor effort at pushing the race card...

Anyone else find it funny that Coach even endorses the guy that says, "If it ain't White, it ain't right."

I'm completly not paying attention to half of this shit... But I did notice that Kurt Angle is READING off a cue card...

King spraying himself... Fucking shameless.

Anyone else think Ashley needs some new music? Maybe something that fits her little punk image...

Trish goes out a heel feuding with a Diva contestant, and comes back a face siding with the new one...

It's OK, us fans really don't remember details...

Cry_Wolf got cut down to PG-13... What a bunch of bullshit

Really can't wait for TNA... I need a change from this same ol' shit.

Great we get to hear King & Coach gay-out over Masters... It's just fucking weird.

There's still an hour left... Shit... Fast Forward...

I swear Flair's matches have contained the same coreography for the past 20 years...

FF...

I think Mr. Kennedy is hilarious!!!

Murdoch & Cade v. Eugene & Tajiri... FF...

What Lita & Edge have to say...

Matt came back with grand plans for revgenge, but the writters seem to be getting in his way...

Cage match should be good... Of course I've been saying that since they fired Matt...

"Swimming down stream..." - Cena... Doesn't he mean "Swimming UP stream." ???

He just called him a butt pirate... HA HA

"Cena the street fighter, the battler, his fighting style is unothodox!!!" - JR

SHUT UP YOU ASS!!!!

DAMN! That suplex, with Tomko on the shoulders was impressive...

But JR just needs to stop treating every fucking match like the Main Event of WrestleMania...

I'm done... Gotta go watch the Season Finale of Rescue Me again and eat some hot-spicy foods to clean my palate of this shit...

"Demonic blue-eyed killer" SHUT THE FUCK UP! Ass...

TNA in a couple weeks...

I just read on lordsofpain.net that the Ultimate Warrior DVD is coming out in 2 weeks. It looks interesting. Title of the set is: "The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior".

Here is a link to the trailer:

And to think, all he had to do was agree to appear on the disc and probably a couple of shows, and it would have been a hero disc like LOD.

I guess it's true, "don't cross the boss."

But Josh Matthews got to bang Hugh Morrus for a while. ;)

I used to be a big fan of wrestling, but it has gotten real lame lately. I think WWE is suffering from a lack of serious competition, and it is losing the hunger to present a great 2 hour show.

In their prime in the late 90's/very early 2000's, when WWE and WCW were head to head for ratings they would were both putting on great shows for RAW and Nitro, and then their respective shows later in the week.

WCW rode the NWO for years with Sting, Luger, and DDP as good guys, and every week was great (remember when NITRO used to be 3 hours?) The NWO had Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Machoman, and even The Giant was in there for awhile.

WWF, at the time, had Triple H and Stephanie owning the show as the ultimate bad guy and his girlfriend, the owners daughter. The Rock was the ultimate good guy reminiscint of Hogan in the 80's, and Stone Cold going at it with Vince McMahon every week was a great angle they played up.

Now they have a bunch of B Wrestlers, some are pretty entertaining, but wrestling overall is just not that good anymore. I really think it is ebb and flow of the way wrestling has become.

The peak was started in 1984 with the rise of Hulk Hogan, and culminated with Wrestlemania III, where Hogan pinned Andre the Giant. The valley began in the early 90's, when WWF got stale, and McMahon was in legal troubles.

The revival, as I stated above came with the creation of the NWO by WCW. That got McMahon off his ass and made WWF a hell of lot better with the rise of Stone Cold, Triple H, and The Rock.

Now we are unfortunately in that valley again, where you need a new generation to take over for the old. Right now, there is no one or two wrestlers that can take the mantle and vault wrestling back into pop culture. When a wrestler hosts Saturday Night Live, then you know it is back in the mainstream: Hogan did it in '85, and The Rock did it in '99. Oh, those were the days.

Well as usual this was a boring, dull, snorefest show. After watching the TNA PPV then this the next night....UGH... wow there is just no comparison. Man Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles vs Chris Daniels what a match! The WWE needs a complete overhaul.

It's not just the wrestling (the most popular wrestlers aren't the most skilled) and it's not the characters (as I've said before, they are pushing up younger guys). To me, it's the blandness of it all. We all know what will happen:

1. Wrestler X is in the next PPV, Wrestler Y is not. Wrestler X will either win outright, or lose due to being screwed by whomever he's going up against on the PPV.

2. Wrestler X is going up against Wrestler Y in the next PPV. Because they can't give away the PPV match on free tv, we get either tag action with two other fueding wrestlers, or a handicap match favoring the heel.

3. If Wrestler X gets destroyed by Wrestler Y in the show before the PPV (after a match, of course), more likely than not Wrestler X will get the PPV win.

This week, I was kind of surprised when they pitted Big Show against Edge (since both are in separate shows). Then it became the predictable tag match. Part of the problem is with the separate rosters: sure it gets different people on TV, but they end up fueding with the same people. I don't remember all those Nitro matches, but I'm amazed looking back by the sheer variety of matches and how many they could fit in.

that being said, I still love Flair always valiantly trying to do a move off the top rope. King's great: "I think I've seen it work once!" Yeah right...

i haven't watched wrestling since the big ecw ppv this past june, and hell they gave it their all. After reading the thread, the wwe needs some serious changes, and they better hope people don't flock to tna for real wrestling.

MAJOR NEWS: JEFF JARRETT REGAINS NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FROM RAVEN IN CANADA ON THURSDAY NIGHT!
America’s Most Wanted shocks the fans by helping Jarrett win the gold

(Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada) – The self-proclaimed “King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett regained the NWA World Heavyweight Title on Thursday night in Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada, defeating Raven with the help of America’s Most Wanted.

In a shocking turn of events, “Wildcat” Chris Harris and “Cowboy” James Storm turned their backs on the fans and aligned themselves with Jarrett, ultimately costing Raven the bout and the World Title.

The NWA World Heavyweight Title match took place under the banner of Border City Wrestling out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Following the bout, NWA Championship Committee member Larry Zbyszko was in contact with the promoters of the show, and Zbyszko has informed TNAwrestling.com the title change is indeed official.

Thanks to America’s Most Wanted, Jeff Jarrett has fulfilled his proclamation of being NWA World Heavyweight Champion with the debut of “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV on October 1.

“I told Raven…I told EVERYONE that for the good of TNA Wrestling, I needed to be NWA World Heavyweight Champion when we hit SpikeTV!” Jarrett told TNAwrestling.com via phone after the bout. “I knew TNA management was trying to keep me down, so I had to get that title back on MY terms in Canada where they couldn’t stop me! Chris Harris and James Storm were the only ones out of that entire locker room who had the brains to listen to me. They made the right choice! Now roll out the red carpet, because YOUR champion - The King Of The Mountain - and America’s Most Wanted – the cornerstones of TNA - are coming to SpikeTV, and there’s nothing TNA management can do to stop us!”

“Jarrett was right all along – it was time for America’s Most Wanted to finally look after OUR best interests for a change,” Chris Harris told TNAwrestling.com. “We built this company from the ground up and we’ll be damned if anyone was going to take our spot – the spot we RIGHTFULLY own. Who was looking out for us? The fans? TNA management? Raven? No – Jeff Jarrett was looking out for us. And guess what? Now we’ve got his back, and now WE call all the shots.”

James Storm added: “By the way…hey Naturals, shine up the tag team titles – it’s only a matter of time now before they’re coming home, one way or another. Sorry ‘bout your damn luck…”

Raven left the arena immediately following the bout and refused to comment on the situation.

TNAwrestling.com will have a further update on Friday afternoon following the events that unfolded on Thursday night in Ontario with the crowning of new NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett!
