why dont you ask which gameboy advance games are good, being that the DS plays all GBA games?

All three Castlevania games.
Both Metroids
Mario Kart
Warioware and Warioware:Twisted
Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga
Zelda: minish cap

The Mario and Zelda ports (though you may want to wait if you're getting a revolution as the downloads will probably be cheaper.

Advance wars 1 & 2 if you're into strategy games.

Those are turn based, iirc.

Sorry, I hate those types of games so I don't know all the differences.

The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Astro Boy: Omega Factor

These three games are Must-Play games.

I'm hoping Rebelstar: Tactical Command is good. I should be getting it today.

There's no way a pseudo-sequel to Xcom can be bad, even if it is more of an Xcom Lite.

Also, nobody's mentioned the Fire Emblems. Personally, I preferred the Advanced Wars, but there's no denying the quality of the same type of gameplay with an RPG story.

I played a lot of Mario Golf Advance when it came out. A nod goes to Super Puzzle Fighter as well.
