Where will Nomar play next year? I'm pretty sure he wants to stay in Chicago but all points lead to them being done with him....
He can be a DH, SS, and he hasn't been a butcher at 3rd in his extended time there the last couple of weeks so he's got a couple of holes that he can feel for different teams (he can probably play 2nd too) and surprise, surprise he can still hit, he's at like .330 since returning from the DL with 6 home runs.

If he's available, I'd sure like to see my Twins take a run at him. They need ANYBODY who can hit the ball.

Maybe the Astros will finally learn they need to spend some money on the O and pick him up. As much as I like Adam Everett I don't think he will be winning them a World Series anytime soon. He would look much better as a much used backup.

He can still put up good numbers for a SS, but his inability to avoid injuries has killed most chances of him ever getting a multi-year deal again. This was supposed to be the season where he proved he could stay healthy. I'd rather see the Cubs go after Furcal. He'd finally give them a leadoff hitter; one that works counts, has pop, has speed, and is a smart baserunner. A multi-year deal would see to it that the Cubs have him for the prime years of his career.
