Got mine at Best Buy and yes it has an 8 page booklet along with 1 advetisement for Lost merchanise and 2 ads for non Lost stuff.

Is there anywhere where they list what disc has what episodes? I'm trying to rent them to finish watching the first season but the covers only list things like "Episodes 100 - 102" for the first three, etc. Nothing that I can find lists the names of the episodes.

I bought it this morning and couldn't find one with the bonus disk, i asked an employee and she said it was inside the set. I went to work. I opened it on my break and found there was no disk, coupon (for desparate housewives), or an insert. I went back during my lunch break and the customer service girl tried to tell me that the seventh disk was the advertised disk. I politely explained that i think that the total disks in the set should total out to eight disks and i didn't have the coupon anyways, so she offered that i find a new set and i found one with the bonus disk, coupon and insert. I hate best buy.

The bonus disc is in a separate sleeve outside the main package, and inside the shrinkwrap. At the BB store I went to, they had sets with and without the bonus disc. The ones with the bonus disc - besides it obviously being present on back - had a sticker on the front shrinkwrap promoting it.
I'll have to exchange my set tomorrow. Disc No. 4 in my set had a nice scratch on it. Maybe I should hold on to the booklet in case I grab one without it.

I would definitely hold onto that booklet, and if you end up getting a spare, maybe you could help a fellow DVDtalker out. I'd be happy to send a self address stamped envelope and some cash for your gas costs.

Very annoyed here. Bought the Best Buy bonus disc edition, and got no episode guide. All I got were the 2 advertisements for other DVD releases.
And the nearest Best Buy is an hour away, to return the thing.

Why is there a special feature entitles "The Art of Matthew Fox" and nothing about the naked pictures of Evangeline Lily?
I'd never seen an episode before now. Very good through 3 eps and I can also have this double as my long awaited season 2 of Party of Five, where Charlie goes away to get away from his annoying siblings and crashes on the flight back which would explain why there are no more seasons of Party of Five.

I got mine at Target and have the booklet and ads.
Does anyone have trouble getting the slipcover out of the set? I had to open the top flap just to get it out also I don't like the way they pack the discs overlap one another like AC/DC Family Jewels, I'm afraid they well get scratch up someday.

Finally, just like Quake, my set is in prestine condition. I've never had a set with more than 3 discs be scratch free. Even the Bonus Disc was in great shape. Thank you Buena Vista!

My discs were secure, too, yet one was scratched. It was a rather nasty one, too.
Maybe I just don't get it. I don't care if a disc arrives loose or not. I'd rather have loose and undamaged than secure and scratched.
And another thing about this set - not sure if this is for all or just those at Best Buy - I've had two sets now and both had that damn security tag clued inside the back of the clear slipcover. I managed to remove them without damaging anything, but man, what a pain.

I've seen it. I paid $2 more for the set at BB than I could have got it for at WM. If the price difference was $5 or more, I would have got it at WM.
Probably the best thing on it is that special "summary" type show, The Journey. But I've seen that on TV twice.
I wouldn't worry about it. Probably the best thing it's good for is the $10 off Desperate Housewives coupon. My gf is getting mine.

Just picked mine up. No episode guide and a LOT of glue from where the bonus disc was attached. It came off with several swipes of duct tape, but boy did it put up a fight.
Does anyone know where I go to get a replacement guide? I know somebody in the bargains board had one sent to them, as this is a common complaint.
Glue? I've handled two sets, both from BB, and there was no glue. The bonus disc was on the back of the set, inside the shrinkwrapped, but was not glued in any way.
And as I said above, yes, that security tag was a damn pain to remove.

I did have a booklet in my copy from BB with the bonus disc.
To remove the security sticker, I used a hair dryer to heat up the plastic slipcase. The heat softened up the adhesive and it came off without any problems.

*Sigh* I'll be taking my "Lost" set back to Best Buy tomorrow for the second time.
The first set I bought, with the bonus disc, had an episode guide, but there was a long tear down one of the hinges. I kept the bonus disc and exchanged for a set without a bonus disc so someone else could get one. But my replacement set has no episode guide.

it's sad I know but I just got my set on Saturday. The set however was in absoluely pristine condition and I got the booklet and the bonus disk the damn security tag was on the sleeve but it didn't put up too much of a fight. I was going to use a custom set of cases for these but honestly for the first time I was quite impressed with the packaging that was provided.:)
